Our Story
When Sea Kayak Plockton was set up in 2010, I knew our paddlers would need a mid-morning boost. It’s hard work learning new kayaking skills! My signature bake was flapjack - from an old recipe, but with an added twist. I decided this was the perfect food for the Sea Kayak Plockton ‘elevenses’.
Those oats became legendary! Our flapjack was such a hit with our paddlers, we created Kayaker’s Kitchen. Now you can have a taste of Plockton sent straight to your home to share on your own adventures.

About Me
I’m an Advanced Sea Kayak Coach and Leader; the founder of Sea Kayak Plockton; a cruise ship Kayak Master and Expedition Guide; and a baker of flapjack! I’m a geographer at heart, so I have a curiosity for the world and love sharing this with others and inspiring people to explore.
Connecting with people is really important for me. I’m passionate about inclusivity and giving people the all-important confidence then need when out on the water, whatever level they’re at.
Supporting sea kayakers takes many forms … one of which is providing sustenance in the form of flapjack!
